Expectations are dependent upon the quality of dictation and how well you use work expanders for commands. I recently started working on EditScript and like it, but still managing only about 1600/8 hrs. My manager told me some of her MLS are making $20/hr. I told her to put them on my crappy accts and watch those number dive. Anyway, gives you an idea of the kind of difference that can be.
As for getting 8 hrs of work in, that depends on the company and the clients, not the platform.
