I am curious. Why do you feel you have no other choice? If you are housebound because you are disabled and/or have no transportation, there are other work-at-home jobs. Not all of them are scams, though you do have to be careful.
Those people who take your order over the phone or online when you're catalog shopping are not necessarily sitting in some brick and mortar call center.
To start, check out your favorite order by phone or on-line store website, and there should be a "careers" tab or "employment opportunities" type of tab.
