I'm in Mountain Time and deal with this constantly. On a Friday night any work I do after 9:00 or 10:00 pm (midnight on the East coast), depending on the time change, goes onto the next pay period. When I complained about this it was always, it evens out in the end type of comment.
Very frustrating. It's not just you, it's a time zone thing.
