I Went From - Acute Care to Radiology Posted: Feb 15th, 2018 - 1:55 pm In Reply to: RADIOLOGY - J SIn
I transitioned from 12 years of acute care fairly easily into radiology. If I had not had acute care experience, I would not have been able to transition into radiology MT.
Besides the usual hospital "stuff," acute care encompasses surgeries and procedures which I had tons of experience in--in all the specialties. You'll need to know your internal anatomy really well, including ligaments, tendons, etc., not just organs. This means from head to toe, literally.
Some reports can be long. Some are very short.
By virtue of the fact that you did not include what type of MT experience you have and had to ask why you aren't getting results, leaves me to believe that you are not qualified.
