4 cents a line? go you! According to our company's most recent email the industry standard is 3 cpl editing and 7 cpl typing. But seriously, to your rant - totally valid, and those nurses and doctors make a lot more than we do - if they dont know when to question a dose or measurement - maybe they should ask their scribe - RIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL...good grief!
