We are seeking the ideal candidates to join our team of Legal and Medical Transcriptionists. 1) Are you authorized to work lawfully in the United States directly as an employee of Precise Transcriptions without Precise providing Visa sponsorship?
2) Have you worked two concurrent years full time or the equivalent hours typing Multi Speaker Medical audio?
3) Have you worked two concurrent years full time or the equivalent hours typing Multi-Speaker Legal proceedings?
4) Do you have an active subscription to MS Word as well as the necessary technical equipment to complete transcription typing from home (recent model computer, audio/headset, foot pedal controls, Express Scribe, high speed internet)
5) How many hours of recorded audio can you typically commit to each week?

As our Legal and/or Medical Transcriptionist
Pay starts at .85 cents per audio minute and goes up from there depending on your quality, volume, ability to edit, etc. Performance reviews take place typically within 3 months of starting and offer an increase in pay or remaining goals to achieve a higher rate. You will need to be reliable, with great attention to detail. The expectation is that you can not only type a verbatim document but independently follow client guidelines and template formats with the utmost precision.
Requirements and Qualifications
•You will need to have all the proper equipment at home (recent model computer, pedal, headset, Express Scribe, MS Word)
•MUST have a Subscription to MS Office – Our templates are in Microsoft Word and won't work in Google Docs, Open Office, or other word processing software!
•Minimum of 3 years of recent transcription experience in medical or legal
•Well-versed in legal and/or medical terminology - Internet savvy for searching unique terminology and proper names
•Reside within the United States
•Commit to deadlines
