I was just thinking the same thing this morning and I have given up way too much of my family time to help out and I only ever get the $50 gift card. It's NOT WORTH IT! If they really want to get the work caught up then they need to raise the line rates for nights and weekends. A $50 gift card over a 2-week period is insulting. JMHO
