It's common practice at Nuance. Managers will completely disappear. You may or may not get the automatic message in email about them being gone.
I'm not sure if this is because the managers know they're about to be let go and just stop doing their jobs, or if it is because they're already gone and Nuance doesn't want to announce it.
It makes the MTs panic when the managers start disappearing.
