$7.25 here. I live in a small town in the South. - MTfor years

We are a tourist town. I recall one visitor telling me that the grocery store prices here were more expensive than in Houston. Isn't that wonderful? Walmart only pricess their goods about 2 cents less than the grocery store, and we only have ONE grocery store. Not much savings there either. Property taxes are outrageous only because of the fact that everyone wants to live in this old town. Tons of Californians are moving here because they think it is affordable, which is causing lots of high dollar homes being built and subdivisions. Most of us are ranchers or simple folk. How do you survive in this environment at $7.25 an hour?
