Had to sit there for at least over an hour to wait as the ??tech read the chart and then typed in the EMR!! Talk about how we have to type fast and produce!! He surely did not have to. It was horrid. Wait till I see one using 2 fingers for the hunt-and-peck technique because this generation are not taught the keyboard. Oh, yes, they learn computers in 2nd grade, but they learn with 2 fingers. Doctors like the Voice Recognition because it is faster for them and they do not have to pay for it either. One of the many benefits that the hospital provides to keep them on staff. Food stocked in their refrigerators too, and free coffee! Look what we get!
