There seems to be a general lack of understanding of the differences as well as a general lack of understanding of IC tax computation. It's so important for each of us to consider all aspects before making a decision about employment situations which will work for us. The tax situation is not as dismal for ICs as many seem to think. No paid holidays or paid time off can be a killer, however.
