Not something an American would say. Then we come to "gaol", which an American would spell as "jail." Most Americans would probably be puzzled by seeing it spelled "gaol" unless they read a lot of Brit (or English-language Indian?} publications.
There is, of course, a chance that the OP is Canadian or possibly Australian, but that's really unlikely.
One wonders how far offshore this message originated.
