Fluency Question - When there is silence Posted: Dec 22nd, 2017 - 6:33 pm
When they are dictating and just taking their sweet time, shuffling through papers or thinking or whatever and there you sit, waiting to get to the next word, can you do anything to jump that silence/noise? I try to fast forward but you have to be careful, because you usually pass it, so I do it just a few seconds at a time, that way if I pass it, I can easily back it up. This is so annoying and time consuming. I know there is a jump command, but I don't think that works with this type of problem.
TIA.
