In Inscribe go to file then options then playback tab. At the bottom in the playback box there are options for shadowscribe playback for attaching the cursor on play - AND according to my instructions "If all boxes are checked making changes while having the foot pedal depressed will type over hightlighted text" There is an inscribe quick reference quide which I printed out which is very helpful for these kinds of things I think my TL or the training people sent me the link way back when I first started on Inscribe after the hack. Maybe in Enrich somewhere? I don't remember where it came from.
