I have only held one position where the supervisor tried to make me accountable for my legal break time. I politely asked my supervisor "So, you are saying if I take a break I am penalized, and you are telling me not to take a break." Oh no! You may take a break she said. I have to keep HR happy too. In my state a break is legal. There is a specific time requirement, but it is just unreasonable to think someone could not take a break after 2 hours or so.
