To clear up the misstatements in this post, let me clarify.
1. Alpha pays VBC and this is listed on the contract. Many contracts are also governed by additional federal regulations. For those contracts you are paid the higher of your line count or local wage grade. For those contracts you are also paid extra perks. Demographics involve less than 30 seconds (fill in name, SSN, DOS). Some require a title/location.
2. All MTs are asked to give their hours of availability. When non PRN MTs log in all over the place, it takes work away from the other MTs. it is not set in place to know every move of the MT.
3. The welcome letter does not state YOUR COMMENTS WILL GO UNANSWERED IF NOT JUSTIFIED. This is listed under the SmartBox (instant messaging system) due to SO MANY questions coming through there. It is reserved for STAT questions only..not for time off information, tech support, etc.
4. All Alpha MTs are given a template to question QA and it is researched, along with the explanation as to why. Anytime QA is found to be incorrect, the issue is discussed with them. The MTs do not see this as it would be very unprofessional to discipline anyone in front of another.
