I work for me, not them and I don't care what they think of me as long as I am churning out lines. I set very high goals for production which means I leave a lot of blanks and ignore a lot of other "rules". The only rule is to churn out lines. Challenge yourself to make money that will motivate you. But you must have a thick skin to ignore your old school thinking about quality and being "good".
