Last winter, however, I was not laid off. I was just allowed to go without work until I quit (but was still eligible for UE because my hours were reduced from 30 to about 15 or less).
As my accounts were offshored and outsourced, my manager put me on various odd crappy accounts until there was only one left.
Of course, there was the promise of "we're looking for more work," but there was none.
I was credentialed, never had any issues at Nuance. When your accounts are gone, they're gone.
So, at the end I had no specific accounts, just whatever they needed help on.
