In general, women make horrible bosses. Every woman-filled office I have ever worked in was filled with catty, gossipy, backstabbing DRAMA.
Men gossip too but not nearly as much. Also, when there's a problem a male boss will call you into the office, close the door, and discuss it and reach a solution. Every time I worked for a female, the entire office knew about "it" (problem or whatever) well before I did.
Women are too competitive with each other. Of course, this means that they do not support each other.
Yes, there are exceptions. But in general the above has been my experience.
