Yes - MTs for Change

Posted: Dec 6th, 2017 - 12:57 pm In Reply to: Especially since there are so many semi-retired MTs - sm

Agree, and however many there are here that fall into the category of PT, supplemented and/or supported, and are okay with the status quo, the point is taken that there is another population that isn't, and that is being harmed by inaction and others lobbying against organization and change.
A physician who signed the MT petition against MTSO exploitation called it what it also is, which is abuse. We need to stop enabling and permitting it to continue. Some people put up with that in their relationships, I don't, and I hope others find the will to stop allowing it too in business. Livelihoods are at stake. Negotiating working conditions and/or forming worker cooperative MTSOs doesn't have to mean the negative connotation and risks of union membership/thuggery. They are not needed.
