We are used to lots of incorrect phrasing - stillanMT

How about "The patient did undergo" that does not even sound incorrect to me anymore. Once I typed for a doctor would say "the patient had a prostatectomy in lieu of prostate cancer." I knew if I listened to that long enough, it would start to sound correct.
