Only certain specialties use scribes, and not even all docs within those specialties use them. Some patients don't want a scribe in the room. Scribes don't make that much money anyway, certainly not what we made "back in the day."

What is a "medical documentation specialist," pray tell? That smacks of the BS language that AAMT/AHDI used to describe US MTs.
