will eventually collapse, especially if Nuance is bought out as is rumored. Ricci is retiring and it's a big unknown what the future holds for Nuance.
What will happen to all the outsourced accounts if Nuance sells its healthcare piece? They seem to be preparing for some kind of move by rapidly, over the past year, outsourcing every account including hospital and acute care. Originally they only outsourced ambulatory/clinic work, but now they outsource both acute care and ambulatory.
I think the MT business is as unstable as it's ever been right now and anything can happen.
Nuance outsources to many smaller MTSOs now and is still purchasing medium-sized MTSOs, with obvious plans to outsource/offshore that work also (as they've always done). They manipulate and control the market right now, but what happens when Nuance Transcription falls?
