I just emailed this question to HR.
If she says yes, I'm going to forward the email to the manager and request an email go out to the MTs in my department to see if they would like to share contact information. If she says no, I'll pursue this issue further, including contacting the labor board to see if this is a violation or if the crafty lawyers of the company have found a loophole.
I'll keep you updated.
