Right. In no other profession that I can think of is an employee punished for asking for help or verification on something of such importance as the safety of another human life!
We're doing the right thing by asking for a second listen!
If someone is abusing the pending protocol by not doing their own research, well then, you address it with that person - not make a policy across the board that puts the patient at risk and the employee on welfare!
