I went from 14 cents a line to 16 cents a line as a subcontractor working for a local independent contractor who had the contract for a large clinic. This was before offshoring. That clinic went to a type your own notes system. Since then, I have worked for an MTSO. I started at 9 cents a line before offshoring and VR. Now I am at 4.5 cents a line doing nothing but VR. Every year, they seem to find a way to cost me more money. I guess you could say I have had multiple anti-raises in the past decade.
