I just filled out my applications for partial unemployment and food stamps, because even though I'm over 200 lines per hour, and hitting high on the pay grid, there's no work and I can't survive on ... ready for this? ... six hours a week. My OM keeps assuring me "it will get better." But, it's been over a month since I've gotten 20 hours, let alone 40, and enough is enough. I need help.
I'm also seeking services through Worksource and DVR to see if I can get help changing careers, which is really fun when you're only a few years from retirement.
Damn these companies. Seriously, damn them all.
