I hear everything you’re saying, Nuance is running a sweatshop and it’s disgusting. I’ve been an MT for 25+ years and finally today said enough is enough. I quit and honestly feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The accrediting bodies for hospitals that use Nuance need to be informed about their employment practices, and sending confidential identifying pt info to India. I wonder if hospitals even realize their patient information is going to India, bet they don’t. I found a job transcribing legal depositions from home and the pay is much, much better. Explore that option, it’s far less stressful.
