I had to walk away because of everything you stated. I could no longer treat my group like this, no matter what upper management said. It was against everything I believed in and weighed heavily on my conscience every single day. Leaving took a huge toll on me financially. I am still recovering after a number of years but I can sleep at night. As many have posted, transcription as it is today sucks the life right out of you. I have my life back at least. My advice is to GET OUT of transcription if you can. I realize some can't for various reasons and that just breaks my heart.
