I work for a company that does some accounts for Nuance and we work in Emdat and I guess some of their own accounts. The owner requested dedictated coverage on both Saturday and Sunday in 3 hour increments to meet the demands of a 2 hour TAT, staring at 6:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. We had to pick what 3 hours slots we wanted to work. With that said, no weekend differential was offered and I am wondering should it have been?
We are ICs and having to sign up for designated shifts w/o compensation seems unfair. I want to approach this matter with the owner, but wonder if they can just do this and we have to adhere.
