I have been at my company a long time. And I think it is good, I get paid okay and I can pay bills. But sometimes I feel like the people in the office play favorites, politics, play games with my cue, etc. I can't put my finger on it but aside from bad dictators companies can also do strange things. I often feel like it is high school. But I have to keep my mouth shut or I am sure I'd lose my job. Maybe it's me. It's just this feeling I get. Or maybe it's the fluctuation in getting good work sometimes and bad work, knowing there are favorites. But I try to keep off the radar. There indeed is a radar... that is one thing I know for sure. But hey we are professionals, right.
