locked out immediately, as I didn't really want to work the 2 weeks. I gave them the option. Of course, they let me work the 2 weeks. I wonder if they did this just to be mean, but this might be the way to do it if you really want to work the 2 weeks' notice. Just tell them you're giving 2 weeks' notice, but it's ok with you if they lock you out immediately. However, don't give any type of notice until you've received your pay for the PTO that you took.
