they're advertising for a straight typing position? Just wondering because you're very focused on the VR part, when in reality, that should have nothing to do with their current postings. Also, yes, most businesses do operate like that. Granted, they don't if it's months or years apart, but we're talking about weeks here. Most companies absolutely DO check their current pool of applicants. If they don't, they're business skills could use some improvement...or HR/hiring manager could use some training.
