HR at any company gets bombarded with applicants all the time ... whether they are advertising or not. Alpha happens to have 99% VR. They are going to be much more likely to hire someone with VR and straight typing experience. Are you good at VR? If so, does your resume reflect this? Have you had anyone review your resume? Is it professional looking? Do you have a professional sounding email (not something like wildgirl56@yahoo.com)? You may well be qualified but they don't know it due to a perceived flaw in your resume.
