I am also hoping to get out of MT since being laid off. I feel absolutely the same - sick to death of the instability. I just want to go to work, come home to my family happy instead of stressed, and know I'm going to have a decent paycheck waiting for me every other Friday. My future feels so uncertain right now. I am 34 years old with two small children and no retirement going for me at all. I feel like I have nothing to show for my hard work and it is very depressing at times.
I'm glad you were able to get out to something more stable. I sincerely hope it makes you and your family happy, mentally healthier, financially stable, and comfortable!
