Fear of another layoff - RAS

I was one of the 400 laid off on September 12, 2017. Believe me I was plenty mad but the next morning I woke up and it was like a weight was lifted. I had 3 years with the company. I stayed with the company because the bills needed to be paid. I now say thank you Lord for getting me out of this. I have applied to other MT companies and have been turned down even though I have 25 years experience. I have come to the conclusion I will have better luck finding a job in a nursing home and have applied for a housekeeping assistant and dietary assistant position. I love doing transcription but my bills need to be paid as well. Enough rant for tonight.
