Second report of the day. A resident. It is a 15 minute report, and he has started over the entire hospital course 3 times now!!
I know I am going to punished for this, AND IT IS OUT OF MY CONTROL!!!!!!!
I checked my lph for the pay period we just finished, and it is too low, just as low as it was the last pay period. It is 90% due to these residents. The other 10% is due to 2 particular doctors who refuse to dictate anywhere there is a decent phone connection and have horrible accents. Blanking does not make up for the words that should have been garnered during that time.
