Walmart has a lot of their electronics made specifically for them. I found that out with a defective crock pot. I called Rival and she told me that they could not replace the crazed ceramic pot because it was a specific Walmart product. I have heard the same thing about their TVs, such as Vizio, etc. If something goes wrong with them, the companies say they are not responsible since it was a specifically made for Walmart product.
