Another possibility for computers is through either QVC or HSN. They both will offer payment plans where you can pay so much per month up to I believe depending on the computer, 6 months. They will take the payment out when it is due either using a credit card or a debit card, so a bit easier on the budget that way. I purchased an ACER laptop through HSN about 3 or so years ago and still going strong!
