You are right, and I plan on documenting how much time I spend doing these tasks.
I don't think it is a ton of time, but it does add up. I calculated that if they had been paying me just 15 minutes of admin time per pay period since I started, it would be hundreds of dollars. I believe I spend about a half an hour per pay period doing these tasks, so I believe it is worth it to proceed.
