It is total crap that we get financially penalized for typing something the doctor says! Why should I have to have to calculate the patient's age for every job because they might have dictated it wrong? Why should money be taken from me because they give a wrong lab value? If you want us to jump through all these hoops to correct their errors, pay us more! I didn't go to medical school. Why should I have to have normal lab values memorized for every lab test out there? The doctor's pay damn sure doesn't get docked because they say the wrong thing.
