They will lull you to come on board (or maybe not in light of the recent layoffs). Most likely, after they get your account up and running, it'll be shipped offshore. That, or you'll be sharing the work with the 2000 other MLS here waiting on work. Since the malware attack, they are getting shadier and shadier. They offered incentive pay and bonuses to get things up and running again after the attack. Then, when it came time to pay up, they did not and their excuse was "oops, we blew it." Last week, over 400 were invited to pre-recorded conference calls and told that day, they were out of a job. No warning, no nothing, just poof. You will not know week to week what you make. It is also based on the holy "grid." The grid is based on lph and QA percentage. You are charged for sending work to QA, you are charged for grammar errors, blanks able to be filled in, everything they possibly can find because these "charges" contribute to the profits. A small error may cost you upwards of $150 for the week, or in most cases even more. Good luck to you and your fellow workers, but your job as you knew it is done now.
