And I use a wireless keyboard (it's a Logitech Wave one.. highly recommend it) and wireless mouse and cheap earbuds with my laptop. Works great for me.
At one time I had a big flat screen monitor and used that as part of my setup, but the monitor got the "white lines of death" through it one day and I haven't gotten a new one yet.
I had an HP desktop before that worked well until it got so old and slow that I had no other choice but to get a new computer. I don't think I'll ever go back to using a desktop.
