fool me twice Any information on jobs for older new RNs - pondering nursing school

I've been toying with the idea of nursing school for over several decades BUT I'm not a big fan of bodily fluids and not sure I could make it through clinicals. On top of that, my 46-year-old brain is not what it used to be (MT has shriveled my brain and body). I wonder how many older people get through nursing school and successfully find jobs? Do you have any feedback on this? I remember when MT paid about as much as RN (which is why I never pursued RN back in the day). It seemed like a good idea at the time:o
