Nuance bought out Escription years ago knowing EditScript was their competition for Dragon. I don't remember the timeline of Dragon, but I can tell you for the last 3 years they have been "limping" my company along, not wanting to "fix" bugs, not knowing why things were happening, and just taking their good-natured time. I cannot believe they would "sell" any platform they own as it would be their competition. Will they just flat out say we're dropping that division, not supporting the platform anymore and give a timeline for MTSOs and other facilities to find alternative transcription? Who knows. It certainly will force hospitals to decide - transcription or force providers to use Dragon/Epic.
