was done with the assistance of the Da Vinci robot system. There was a surgeon manipulating it, of course, so it was not entirely performed by a robot.
I had 5 small incisions, spent 1 night in the hospital, required no assistance with ADLs at all when I went home, and healed quickly and uneventfully. What a difference from my mother's experience 50 years earlier.
