The thing is, as transcriptionists we all know our value and that we possess valuable knowledge. It is way easier to "sell yourself" when you have that confidence rather than to try to "sell yourself" for a position that you may have the skills, but not a proven track record.
I may not have heard back from one single office. But at least I would have known that it was not because of lack of effort.
Everyone of you have the ability to go for it if you choose to. I can honestly say it is nice to go from being unemployed to finally getting a good paycheck for what I feel I do best.
If any of you decide to pursue this, please write and let us know how it went!
