I am not surprised, just another low blow on their part. I was one of the CA MTs let go last year (turned out to best thing that ever happened to me even though I didn't know it at the time). Nothing would make me happier to see them crash and burn in h&ll.
I am just feeling really sad for the MTs in Florida now w/o power; I am sure at least some of them are included in this latest layoff -- when they finally get their power back just to find out they were laid off.
I despise that company with every cell in my body!!! I just have NEVER hated anything/anyone as much as I do them.
