If you have been laid off, apply for Trade Adjustment Allowance program through the Dept of Labor. Nuance has to pay for your retraining and also it would extend your unemployment pay. It is for companies who have offshore workers and let go of US workers. They have an open case and you just need to apply through that. I have several frends who have been retrained through it. Take advantage of it.
