I also worked for a small hospital with no QA for 9 years but had previously worked for MTSOs who used BOS standards, so I know what you mean. I'm the only one of 6 of us who even knew what the BOS was, but the hospital didn't really care, as long as the docs e-signed the reports and they went into the EMR and then on to coding ($$$).
